Forty Weight Coffee Roasters is the product of many years spent daydreaming over hot cups of coffee in breakfast spots and cafes around the world. Owner/Operator Andrew Ballard built Forty Weight on his passion/skill for sourcing, roasting and drinking the finest coffees on earth. The genesis of Forty Weight Coffee Roasters was long and hard, but it led us to be the strong uncompromising company that we are today. Forty Weight Coffee Roasters is on the front lines of third wave coffee; educating, inspiring - leading the movement to evolve our industry.

We focus the majority of our purchasing resources on coffees produced by small family farms, where owners/workers reap the financial benefits of the specialty-coffee-boom that is occurring worldwide. We have incredible access to the most ridiculous coffees on the market; we don’t take this privilege lightly. Once our beans are sourced/purchased, we treat them to small batch roasting (1-10 lbs), and offer them to our customers at peak freshness for a reasonable price. We are able to do this thanks in part to our small size, and to the gracious support we receive from our friends, family, and coffee lovers like you.
